After the disappointment of the first movie still of Jamie Dornan as Christian Grey, which was released on Christian Grey’s Birthday in the movie adaptation of E.L. James novel 50 Shades the Irish actor posted a photo on his Instagram that apparently made up to what “Fifty Shades” fan expected which they missed from the first still. In the first movie still posted on the official Facebook Page of “Fifty Shades” Jamie Dornan portraying the Christian Grey, a sexy billionaire was seen in a black leather jacket starring on cam as he sits on the driving seat of his famous black Audi R8 Spyder. But nothing from the image can be noted as to how much of the book will be in movie.
The new still which is supposed to be from movie which Dornan posted on his Instagram account, however, the 32-year-old “Fifty Shades of Grey” actor showed that there is more to the movie than a sexy billionaire sitting behind his wheels. The new picture shared by Dornan on his Instagram with a caption reading “You Like?”, shows the actor standing wearing an unbuttoned grey shirt and a loosened tie holding a glass of alcohol in his left hand staring down in his white diesel boxers at a blindfolded girl supposed to be Anastasia Steele (Dakota Johnson) who is kneeling on the floor. However the photo is not from the upcoming movie “Fifty Shades of Grey” but from previous photo shoot for GQ in 2006. The blindfolded girl in the photo is not our Anastasia Steele but a model Rosie Huntington-Whitley.
Last weekend Rita Ora who plays the character of Mia Grey in the highly anticipated movie “Fifty Shades” posted a fun snap on instagram of hers, Dakota Johnson and of a fashion designer and a daughter of Paul McCartney Stella McCartney with a caption that reads “ Reunited with my ladies @stellamccartney #dakota #arrgghhhhhhhh.
Meanwhile like many actress Lucy Hale also auditioned for “Fifty Shades of Grey.” The “Pretty Little Liars” star may have lost out of Dakota Johnson who will be playing the role of Anastasia Steele in the upcoming movie but she has shared some details about the audition. Lucy Hale says it was awkward. “It actually was just me [in the audition]. It was a two-page monologue of exactly what you would think it would be, “Hale told.”Very uncomfortable, but it was sort of one of those things where you just had to go for it or you’re just gonna look lame — hopefully, I didn’t look lame.”
The movie “Fifty Shades of Grey” which stars Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson in its lead role, Jamie will play the role of S&M obsessed billionaire Christian Grey and Dakota will play the role of Anastasia Steele a young college graduate. It has been reported the movie will be far more romantic than erotic when it comes to taking E.L. James work on big screen. The much anticipated film will be released on a day before the Valentine’s Day 13 February 2015.
E.L. James author of “Fifty Shades of Grey” hinted that she could be working on the fourth book of the series, according to her latest post on Instagram. On Sunday James, 51 posted a close up image of her keyboard without a caption or explanation last Sunday that prompted her fans and followers to assume that she was hinting a new novel by zooming in on the letters that make up the word “F-I-F-T-Y”.
The author neither confirmed nor denies the rumors but James followers quickly swarmed the post with likes and comments asking the author to confirm whether she will be writing fourth book of bestselling Fifty Shades of Grey triology. Whether James purposefully zoomed in on the letters “F-I-F-T-Y” on her keyboard, many fans are hopeful that another “Fifty Shades” installment could be on horizon.
Christian Grey lovers are going back to the root of their steamy fantasies and pinning their hopes on another novel by the writer E.L. James, instead. The writer has enjoyed unexceptional success since her first series of the triology “Fifty Shades of Grey” which was published in 2011. The series second installment “Fifty Shades Darker” was published in the same year. The series third and the final installment “Fifty Shades Freed” made its debut in 2012.
Attention has been firmly on the movie version of James’ first book starring Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson in recent months, but people who use phrases like ‘rumpy pumpy’ will be delighted to hear a new book may be in the works. “Please tell me you are writing the fourth book of ‘Fifty Shades!’ I can’t get enough of Fifty Shades,” one of 3,416 users to “like” the cryptic message said on Instagram Monday. “#hiddenmessage #fifty duh!!!” another fan said. “I hope you’re writing the 4th book.” “Please let there be another Fifty Shades of Grey. I want to know how their family turns out, and if Ethan and Mia hit it off, and what about Kate and Elliot? There’s still so much to know,” one user wrote.
This is not the first time that James hinted at possibly adding a fourth installment to the franchise. When a fan asked the author in February whether she was planning to write a fourth book, James responded “Never Say Never”. Moreover her interview in November with Hollywood Reporter, in which she commented on the odds of her writing another romantic novel,” I have to think about it,” James said adding.”I have to really think about Christian’s point of view. So it’s about what to do next.”
Fifty Shades of Grey is a novel which revolves around the BDSM relationship of billionaire Christian Grey and a college virginal Anastasia Steele. The Character of Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele are played by “The Fall” actor Jamie Dornan and the “Ben and Kate” actress Dakota Johnson respectively. The silver screen adaptation of the series first book,” Fifty Shades of Grey”, is expected to hit the theatres on Feb 13, 2015.
The 16th of February 2014 is going a grand day for all of E.L. James and Fifty Shades Movie fans and followers. The author, who has created a trilogy that has left most of the readers sweating and panting for more, literally, of course, can be seen up, close and personal in her first Canadian book signing event. The author, who was the highest earning author last year, thanks to the Fifty Shades trilogy, will be signing books at Chapters, which is located at 788, Robson Street, in the downtown core. The book signing event will take place at 2:00 p.m. on the 16th of this month.
The Chapters store has provided the following details about the book signing event:

- A customer is entitled to receive only one wristband.

- The line-up at the book signing event will be based on the principle of first-come, first-served and this is applicable only for customers who have a wristband. Among them, the first 100 customers in the priority access line will be followed by the next 200 customers with wristbands.

- The store has issued directives regarding photography at the event, and has said that no posed photos can and will be clicked, but the customers can take candid photographs.
Even though the details seem stringent, if you are a fan and a follower of the author, you will make an effort and be present at the venue of the 16th of February 2014. E.L. James, who has been involved heavily with the film making as well, as one of the producers of the 50 Shades movie, has been putting up in Vancouver to follow the shooting and provide her creative inputs. And now it seems her stay in Vancouver will come full circle with this book signing event.
And you thought the mighty could not be ‘terrified’! Quite contrary to what you might know or feel, Erica James, the noted author of the best-selling trilogy, Fifty Shades of Grey has come up with a shocking revelation that she is in fact ‘terrified’ of her novel making it to the big league of Hollywood adaptations. Both the novel and the movie have been in the news for some time following cast troubles and shooting schedule woes. But leaving everything far behind, James’s revelation comes as quite a surprise given that she is every bit a part of the creative process of both the novel and the movie.
This news is in fact huge! Who would have guessed that the author who brought steamy love alive on the pages of her BDSM inspired novel would be ‘terrified’ of the venture herself? She denotes this habit of worrying too much to her mother. She also feels that this kind of hedonistic feeling is unprecedented for her because all she ever wanted were her novels to sit pretty on the bookshelves. Instead look what she got! A three-book deal with the publishers and the first one is already in the pipeline to be a major Hollywood adaptation.
Although the fate of the movie still hangs in the balance, but the movie has been successful in generating enough hoopla around it. Whether it is the hot and steamy star cast or the equally sultry story line, you cannot put your finger on the exact reason which has made the first installment of the movie franchise so eagerly awaited. Right from the time it was announced that the novel would be adapted for the big screen, James has been apprehensive, but then, she has also admitted that at the age of fifty, the prospect of being part of Hollywood had left her with no choice other than accepting the proposition.
She is also said to be a part of the casting team, and though there have been some goof-ups in that department, the cast now seems ready to start shooting for this Valentine’s Day 2015 release. The release of this Sam Taylor-Johnson flick has been pushed back to Valentine Day 2015 and though some fans are not too happy with this development, others feel that the timing of the release could not have been more relevant for this film, which is a romance at heart. The cast has sprung up some surprises too.
The new members to have joined the film as the cast are Dylan Neal as Anastasia Steele’s Step Father, Marcia Gay Harden Cast as Christian Grey’s Mother and Jennifer Ehle cast as Anastasia Steele’s Mother. Earlier set to play Christian Grey, the titular character in the novel, Charlie Hunnam is already out of the project and has been replaced by Irish hunk and star of ‘Once Upon a Time’, Jamie Dornan. Though the race is on for who will play the middle aged seductress, Mrs. Robinson and if the rumour mills are to be believed, Katie Holmes has been finalised for that role. The only constant factor in the star cast of this non-summer release has been Dakota Johnson, who plays Anastasia Steele. With so much happening at the same time, let us hope that James continues this heady journey with a little bit of help from her viewers and readers by appreciating her new endeavour.
She might have penned one of the best selling works of erotic fiction of all time, but it looks like the next project from the Fifty Shades of Grey author will be far less sexy.
Her Fifty Shades of Grey novels about dominant billionaire, Christian Grey, and his innocent, Anastasia Steel have taken on the world by storm. A movie adaptation is in the works at the moment of the books, leading to even more hype surrounding the books.
E.L. James was invited to the exclusive Vanity Fair Oscars party, but even with all the success from the world of Fifty Shades of Grey, it looks like E.L. James may be going in a totally different direction in her next novel.
“I’ve got so many ideas for my next book,” she says, “But it will be much less raunchy and I will probably write it under another name and be done with it.”
While she’s seen huge success, the subject matter of the Fifty Shades of Grey trilogy has left Ms. James rather embarrassed.
E.L.James’s New York Times #1 bestselling trilogy books have been a huge success and has been picked up by Universal and focus films, which bought the rights to the movie and are currently working on the movie Fifty Shades of Grey starting with the script being written by Kelly Marcel, the British screenwriter charged with translating the bestselling novel into a movie.
